NOVEMBER NEWSLETTER

Dear Parents:

It’s hard to believe that the Holiday season is right around the corner.  We have been very busy this month.

Please keep checking our website – www.mascenic.org.  New items and photos are always being added.

Parent/Teacher conferences are November 10th.  This is a very busy day for the teachers.  If you cannot make your appointment time, please call your teacher and let her know ASAP.

Mrs. Leel is willing to coordinate the Destination Imagination program at Appleton.  For the program to run it needs Team Managers.  If you are interested in volunteering, there will be an informational meeting on November 12th in the Appleton cafeteria at 4:00 p.m.

Kindergarten Update:  The completed Grant Proposal will be submitted to the State after School Board approval at Monday night’s School Board meeting.  We are that much closer to having Kindergarten!  YEA!

The New Hampshire State Fire Marshall’s Office has sent us some new orders after their recent inspection of both Central and Appleton Elementary Schools.  We can no longer hang student artwork, posters, etc. in the hallways.  The classroom cannot have more than 20% of wall space covered with flammable material and nothing can hang from the ceiling or lights.

On Tuesday, November 11, I will be changing my schedule.  I will start my day at Appleton and move to Central at noon.
